You can get a snap gauge and actually measure the bores to determine if they are out of round or not. I wouldn't be surprised if they are but pistons are out of round also....to compensate for heat expansion.

ok has anyone ever tried to rebuild a automatic trans? I have 2 or 3 times and each time gets better but still no dice. The last trans I rebuilt ran great except in reverse.
